Mr. Burow spoke to us today about how to give an effective speech. Ask any 7th grader about "hook, book, look, took."
We played Silent Quizlet Live today. Students get into groups and have 30 seconds to discuss how they will signal members of their team. Then they play (we practiced for our Prefix quiz tomorrow) without talking to their team.
It was nice seeing smiles and hearing chuckles from students that I don't usually. Loads of fun!?
